I know I really should write more interesting stuff about our band instead of just recommending other artists all the time… But there isn’t that much to tell you about Royal Downfall at the moment. We’re working on new songs and will start recording them in January. I assure you that it’s going to sound awesome. :)

So… Back to recommending other bands… As usual I thought I’d tell you about some of the stuff I’ve been listening to this week… First of all: I love doom! And this week I’ve rediscovered the classic (and reunited!) doom band Saint Vitus. Heavy guitar riffs and great vocals by Scott Weinrich. I’ve also listened to Scottish band Frightened Rabbit. Not as heavy though. But good stuff!

We’ve got a lot of new material waiting to be recorded… I’m heading up to Umeå later this month to rehearse and then we’ll try to record some new stuff in November or something. It’s gonna be interesting!
